Game Preview: Green Bulldogs v. McKinley Bulldogs (Off The Leash | 9/14/22)
The Green Bulldogs look to defeat the McKinley Bulldogs on Friday to put them 4-1.

Green High School will take on McKinley High School this Friday (9/16/22) @ 7:00 PM ET at home. In a battle of the bulldogs (and a win before homecoming), Green looks to advance to 4-1 after a win against the Jackson Polar Bears. On the other side, McKinley hopes to gain their first win losing every Friday for the past 4 weeks. McKinley lacks a consistent quarterback, trying their luck with QB Keaton Hill (#1), who has yet to show what he can do. McKinley often run the ball with RB Nino Hill (#12), who has run for over 100+ yards in every game. Green has had a difficult time stopping the run game, so it’ll be interesting to see what the Green defense can do against yet another run based offense.
Dog Tags
Here are 2 players to look out for this Friday.
Zach Baglia (#13)
WR Zach Baglia makes the watch-list for the 3rd time. Coming off of an 18 reception, 176 yard, 2 TD game against the Polar Bears. Almost always being the open receiver, he often is able to get Green on the board when they need it most. In addition, QB Robby Klockner (#19) and Baglia appear to get along well; having a great connection on the turf. If the Bulldogs pull out the win against McKinley this week, this may be what he needs to get on the radar.
AJ Fortunato (#13)
LB AJ Fortunato has been making his way into this list every week, getting better and better as time goes on. Recording 14 tackles by himself against Jackson last week, usually being the person to stop the rush when they slip through the cracks. You’ll definitely want to watch out for him this week against McKinley, where stopping the run will be even more important.
Game Prediction
With a lack of a quarterback, McKinley will focus more on running the ball more frequently. Though, Green has had issues in the past stopping it.
